Know Your Space Limitations
1.) Measures the space you have to work with & draw it on a piece of paper. (1 inch = 1 foot).
2.) Note any windows and doors, height and width.
3.) Note any existing furniture.
4.) Note all electrical outlets as well as all telephone & cable outlets.
5.) Note any floor heat registers.
6.) Measures your sewing height.**
**Sit at your sewing chair, with feet flat on the ground, put your arms down at your side. You will need someone to measure the distance from the floor to your elbows.
