Quilter's Trek 2020

Quilters Trek is all new, fun and easy! Visit any participating quilt shop during the summer and ask for the QTrek pattern for a block in a True Blue quilt. Each participating shop is offering one pattern at no charge to customers who visit the store during the event, beginning June 21, 2020.

All shops are open different hours!
Be sure to check the shop websites or call ahead to verify summer hours when planning your route.

Quilters Trek is designed for shoppers looking for destination quilt shops! Participating stores are offering a pattern as a thank you for customers visiting their stores. Please do not ask for a pattern to be sent by mail or email. All patterns are copyright property of the designers. You may not copy or transfer the pattern in any format without express permission from the pattern author or publisher.

All New! In response to the pandemic, kits can now be shipped to you during the event! Individual patterns are only available in-store or curbside, call first to check with the store.

Win a prize for sewing! Complete a quilt using at least 32 9-inch designs from at least 8 different 2020 participating shops. Be the first or second person to bring it into a shop to win a stash of 15 fat quarters. (That’s 3-3/4 yards of fabric!) (And yes… that’s two winners!) Win a bonus prize for using that store’s design in your quilt. A quilt will be considered “complete” when it is quilted, bound, and labeled.

Kids can play too! Many stores will be offering a free pattern for children up through age 16. We all want kids to enjoy the wonderful hobby of quilting!

Bonus! Many stores are offering kits for their designs and hidden inside the kits are collectible fabric tokens. Use the tokens in your quilt or any creative project.

Use any pattern to layout your designs. Each store is creating a unique design that can be divided into 9-inch squares. You decide how you want to put them together. Stack them up, arrange around a center medallion, make them horizontal, vertical, upside down, on the front, on the back, whatever! You are the designer. Be creative and have fun, but be sure to use at least 32 9-inch blocks from at least 8 different 2020 participating shops.

The important disclaimer: One prize per quilter. You may make several quilts and show them off in several shops, but you and your quilt may only claim one prize. Your quilt will be photographed for Facebook and everyone will see it, so play fair!
