Summer Class 
Serging Forward

Have you ever wondered what a serger will do for you? Come discover what HUSQVARNA VIKING® Sergers are all about. You’ll learn a popular quilting technique — and be amazed with the results! Included in this event will be a trunk show of inspirational samples.
A diverse background in the clothing industry and her innate vision and talent provide the foundation for Dawn's memorable events. She loves to inspire creativity and passion using diverse skills honed over 25 years. her presentations are infused with excitement and energy. While Dawn specializes in "wearable art", her portfolio of interests also include professional alterations, image consulting, D'Marie jewelry design and manufacture, fired art and recycling apparel into new treasure. Dawn has published in Jenny Haskins magazine, Creative Expressions, as well as Designs in Machine Embroidery magazine.
Registration Fee = $25. Lunch will be provided by our Master Chef - Floyd!

Quilting with Embroidery

Are you a Quilter and ever wondered about incorporating embroidery into your quilting? Come join our HUSQVARNA VIKING® Sewing Specialist and discover how to combine Quilting with Embroidery. Have fun learning amazing techniques on a HUSQVARNA VIKING® embroidery machine!
Gail is a passionate teacher, and has shared her fascination for sewing with consumers for over 30 years. Her former retail and educational roles have given her a deeper perspective when leading fun events. She has sewn and taught many projects focused on heirloom quilting, piecing, home décor, vintage doll wardrobes using the original patterns, children's clothing and felting.

Fluff & Stuff

Paula Reid enthralled students at Appletree this last weekend with her ready wit and expertise in machine quilting. We had a packed room for her "Fluff and Stuff" workshop and everyone demanded a repeat appearance. Don't miss Paula's encore appearance this fall for two different workshops.

This great introductory class starts with "batting practice" and works through the use of your walking foot and darning foot. Explore free motion techniques plus working with quilt stencils and decorative threads. Paula will share her invaluable tips and expertise for stream lining the quilting process, making it faster and more fun.
