Machine Guide Lessons
Join our highly trained teachers for your Husvarna Viking sewing machine or software owners guide lessons. You will learn all the basics and extra tricks to make your sewing experience so much more rewarding.
If you purchased your new Husqvarna Viking sewing machine from AQC, your guide lessons are FREE and you may repeat them as often as you like (space permitting). If you purchased your machine elsewhere and would like to take your owner's guide lessons from us, you must register for the complete set of lessons provided for your particular machine:
If the class meets:
one time, the fee will be $95;
two times, the fee will be $180;
three times, the fee will be $265.
Please register for guide classes at least one week prior to the beginning of a class series. Also, please let us know if you are unable to attend a class.
Please bring your sewing machine or serger, manual, foot control, power cord, and all the accessories to class. Embroidery machine owners do not need to bring their embroidery units to class until the third week.

Guide Lessons for Basic & Computerized Viking Sewing Machines

This class is for owners of basic and computerized Viking sewing machines including HuskyStars, Emeralds, Preludes, Interludes, Platinums, and Sapphires (models 830, 850, and 870), or the equivalent. The first class will cover basic machine operations and maintenance. The second class will cover additional features and programming for the Emerald 183, Interludes, Platinums, and Sapphires only.

This class is for owners of any Viking embroidery machine from the Iris up to the Designer Diamond. The first two classes will cover sewing machine operations, techniques, and maintenance. The third class will cover machine embroidery techniques. The fourth class will cover computer connectivity and alignment in the majestic hoop for owners of the Designer SE and Diamond.
Guide Lessons for Viking Sergers
A. 6:30 – 8:30 PM Tue. Mar. 2, 9, 30
B. 10:00 – Noon Fri. May 7, 14, 21
C. 6:30 – 8:30 PM Tue. June 29, July 6, 13
This class is for owners of Viking or White sergers. In the first two classes, we will cover basic 3 and 4 thread serger operation. The third class is for owners of 5 thread sergers only.
Guide Lessons for the Viking MegaQuilter & 18X8 Mid-Arm
A. 10:00 – Noon Sat. Mar. 6 - Completed.
B. 10:00 – Noon Sat. May 15
This class is for owners of the Viking MegaQuilter and MQ18x8. This will be an open discussion to cover basic machine operation and maintenance. We will cover any problems you might be having. Please DO NOT bring your machine and frame to class!
Guide Lessons for the Viking QBOT
A. 10:00 – Noon Sat. Mar. 6 - Completed.
B. 10:00 – Noon Sat. May 15
This class is for owners of the new robotic QBOT for hands free quilting on the Viking MegaQuilter and MQ18x8. This will be an open discussion to cover basic operation of the QBOT and QBOT software.
