AQU 101: Basic Quilt Making

If you are new to quilting or would like to learn all the tricks and secrets to successful machine quilting, we have the perfect class for you. Join the teaching staff of Appletree Quilting for this six week course and we will guide you through all aspects of the quilting process including:
1. The secrets of safe and accurate rotary cutting;
2. Piecing the blocks;
3. Setting the quilt together;
4. Adding perfect borders that won't pucker;
5. Machine quilting the quilt sandwich;
6. Plus binding your finished quilt.
Start with a good foundation. Learn everything you need to know in order to make beautiful quilts easily and successfully during this comprehensive Appletree Quilting University course! Fee $95.

Select a Jelly Roll plus two coordinates and join Lorna to play "Pick up Sticks" with fabric. The design is intricate but the construction is sew easy. This will be favorite. Fee $45.

Use Jelly Rolls for this easy log cabin quilt. What could be easier, the fabric is already picked out for you and the strips are pre-cut! This fun quilt top goes together sew easily you will want to make an extra one for a friend. Fee $42.
Color Shuffle

Confident Beginner Quilting Classes
AQU 201: Color Confidence

Do you love to quilt but have trouble selecting fabrics that truly work together? Then this Appletree Quilting University class will help you gain the confidence and understanding you need to pull stunning quilts. The class will include an in-depth study of color theory and how it applies to fabrics. Homework exercises will help reinforce concepts studied in class. Friday afternoon you will select your fabric for this colorful wall hanging to be assembled in class on Saturday and Sunday. Fee $95.
Light & Shadow
