Basic Machine Applique
with Jean

Learn successful machine applique techniques as you create this lovely wall hanging. Explore many different techniques including working with fusibles plus raw edge and turned under applique. You will learn to applique with a smooth even satin stitch, narrow zigzag, several different blanket stitches, and invisible stitches. Fee $60.
Appliqued Wallhanging
with Jean

It's not too early to sew for the holidays. Make an exquisite witch or santa appliqued wall hanging. Jean will show you how easily you can do machine applique using the quick fusible method. Fee $60.
Sunflowers
with Jean
A. 6:00 – 9:00 PM Fri. Aug. 6, 27, & Sept. 10
This 51" x 65" wall hanging combines simple piecing and large applique flowers. A batik fabric jelly-roll and a border fabric will make the background of the wall hanging. Then select fabric for the flowers in sunflower or daisy colors to complete the picture. Large appliques make the flowers and are easy to do. We will use free-motion stitching to attach the appliques. Fee $60.
