Learn the basics of traditional hand piecing in this fun, hands-on class. Explore fabric selection, grainline considerations, marking techniques, and the basic hand stitch. It's always nice to have a little hand work to take along. Practice kit included. Fee $25.

Basic Hand Applique

Explore the basics of needle-turn applique. You will learn to applique points, curves, and valleys. Big pieces make it easy to master the techniques. Finishing instructions will be included to make your sample into a flanged pillow. Fee $30.

Learn how to achieve the perfect hand quilting stitch. Explore the mysteries of choosing perfect quilting designs for your quilt, marking the quilt top, and selecting the proper batting, backing, needles, and thread. Then learn how to layer, baste, and quilt your own masterpiece. Practice kit included. Fee $25.
