Classes
Our new schedule of exciting Summer Sewing Classes is now available. We have an amazing selection of 48 different classes from which to choose. Join us for good friendship, good times, and great classes this fall! Sign up for your favorites soon as classes are filling quickly. Skill Levels for Adult Classes:
Beginner
Confident Beginner Intermediate Advanced
Note: The skill level refers to the class category (fashion, heirloom, machine embroidery, and quilting) not to the basic sewing experience of the student.

AQC Class & Workshop Guidelines
Preregistration is required for all classes and special events. Register in person, by mail with a check, or by phone using MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. Class size is limited. Please register early to avoid disappointment.
Full refunds or store credits will be issued only if the class is cancelled by AQC due to bad weather or insufficient registration. Any class cancellation made by the student must be received 10 days or more in advance of the class in order to receive a store credit less a $5 processing fee, no refunds will be given. Credits or refunds are not available on Special Events.
You will receive a class supply list upon registration. Class supplies are not included unless so stated. Registered students will receive a 15% discount off all nonsale fabrics and notions for class supplies. Please inform the Sales Associate at the time of purchase. We truly appreciate your support when purchasing class fabrics and supplies only from Appletree Quilting Center. No other quilt shop in the mid-Missouri area offers you the quality and selection of classes and fabrics from which to choose.
Bring your own sewing machine or serger to class or you may reserve one of our regular classroom machines at no additional charge.
Class Courtesy:
- Please be prompt! Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the class begins. Classes will begin promptly. Everyone's time is valuable.

Please come to class prepared. Have your supplies purchased well before class begins.

Please call if you are unable to attend a class session.

Please be prompt in picking up children from our Kids Sew Fun classes.

Please turn cell phones to vibrate mode during class. Step outside the classroom to talk on your cell phone.

Please do not wear heavy perfume or cologne to class.
New Tool Rental Policy
If you are not sure whether you want to spend the money to purchase the tools required in a class, you may now rent rulers, rotary cutters, and mats for just $5 per class and the cost of a new blade. You may have to share with another student depending on the size of the class. This will give you the opportunity to try before you invest. We hope this new policy will help make it possible for more students to take classes.
