Appletree Quilting & Viking Center is a locally-owned quilt store, in Columbia, Missouri, offers the widest selection of the latest fine quality quilting fabrics , quilt kits , precuts , books , patterns , and notions in the Mid-Missouri area. With over 7500 square feet of retail space and 5000+ bolts of fabric, your choices are practically limitless!
With our online store, you can browse and shop our beautiful selections at your leisure, any time 24 hours 7 days a week, for all of your machine embroidering, quilting and sewing needs.
Our super friendly, professional staff (above) is here to help solve problems and make all your quilting dreams come true! We also offer an extensive selection of fun classes including fashion , machine piecing , machine embroidery , handwork and heirloom .
Appletree Quilting & Viking Center is a Premier Viking Dealer offering you the complete line of Husqvarna Viking sewing machines, sergers, software, and accessories. You will receive complete and unlimited hands-on lessons with each machine you purchase from Appletree Quilting & Viking Center.
We have a renowned Gold Star in-house Viking Service Department at our store in Columbia, Missouri and also repair other brands as well. After 28 years in business and 25 years as a Husqvarna Viking Dealer, we are well known for our excellent customer service and support both before and after purchase.

We welcome groups and quilt tours from surrounding areas to visit our store. Just contact us regarding the day and time of the visit and number of people coming in order for us to better accommodate your visit. Also we are a dog friendly store!
Our Store Policies
If you have a problem with any items, please let us assist you. We will gladly accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase with your receipt. All returned items must be unused and in original packaging. Please allow us to replace any defective merchandise within 30 days of purchase.
The following items are non-returnable due to store policy or copyright restrictions: sale merchandise, cut yardage, buttons, books, patterns, software, and embroidery designs.
Credit card transactions will be refunded to the credit card used. Debit card refunds will be processed as a credit card transaction. For cash or check transactions, you have the choice of a store credit or company check. Refund checks will be issued within 2 weeks of return.
Payment Options and Sales Tax
We accept cash, personal checks (within the state of Missouri), Mastercard, Visa, Discover and GE Capital financing.
Our local sales tax is 7.60%. Online orders from within the state of Missouri will be charged for sales tax.
